I offer one-to-one drum tuition at my private teaching studio in Gamlingay. It doesn’t matter what age you are, I’ve taught students between the ages of 4 and 70! Whether you’re a complete beginner or a professional seeking to develop new skills or bust out of a rut, I can tailor lessons specific to your level and goals.

QUESTIONS
What if I’ve never played drums before?
No problem! Most of my students had never played drums before starting lessons with me. It makes sense if you think about it. Usually, when a person seeks out instruction in something, it is because they don’t already feel confident, knowledgeable, and skilled in that area. Yes, sometimes experienced and advanced drummers will take lessons to further their abilities. However, in my experience, that is much less common than a complete novice taking lessons as a way to first get started.
Where are the lessons held?
Lessons are held at my studio in Gamlingay, Bedfordshire.
Do you offer lessons outside of your studio?
On occasion this is something I can offer, depending on location and facilities. I can travel to a student’s home or studio if required. Please note there would be an additional cost for this to cover travel expenses and time.
What if I need to cancel or change the time of a lesson?
To cancel or change a scheduled lesson, please contact me with at least 24 hours notice prior to your appointment. Please note any lesson that is missed or cancelled after the cut-off time must be paid for in full.
Rates quoted are in line with the 2024 Musician’s Union Rates.
